REMEDIATION AND SITE PREPARATION
This project required preparation of a parcel of 5 hectares of land for a new housing development. The site formerly contained rail tracks, a buried creek, and a capped landfill.
VAPOUR MITIGATION
The Site required the addressing of indoor air quality in an occupied basement, with VOC impacts. Project involved installing plenum boxes to mitigate vapour
REMEDIATION AND BARRIER INSTALLATION
The Site required a multi-phase remediation in a restricted work area of less than 800m2. VOC impacts were identified for in situ and ex situ remediation.
INTERIOR REMEDIATION
The soil, bedrock and groundwater beneath a former dairy distribution facility was impacted from the presence of several historic underground storage tanks. The interior area was successfully remediated, reinstated and the property divested.
RESIDENTIAL LAND DEVELOPMENT
This 10-acre vacant land development project was successfully completed and handed over to the project servicing contractor for the installation of residential and parkland site services.
DEMOLITION AND REMEDIATION
The Site, a 2,500m2 gas station, was being repurposed for a lease return. Demolition and removal of soil and groundwater petroleum hydrocarbon (PHC) impacts was required.
DEMOLITION AND ABATEMENT
The structures on the 73 properties were all successfully demolished, and properties restored with limited environmental influence, positive results for the community and over-all Client satisfaction.
AUTOMOTIVE SALVAGE YARD RECLAMATION
The 14-acre automotive salvage yard property of interest was successfully remediated and rezoned for residential use such that development could commence.
PERMEABLE REACTIVE BARRIER (PRB)
The previous treatment system was removed and replaced. The current PRB trench continues to successfully remediate groundwater preventing off property migration of VOC contaminants.
